Introducing the Chapel & York UK Foundation.
The mission of the Chapel & York UK Foundation is to help UK donors support charities and charitable activities worldwide. The Foundation was established in 2017 by Chapel & York Limited and is part of their ever-increasing ‘family of’ foundation network.
Chapel & York Foundations can help you fundraise in their countries by ensuring you have a presence in the country and enabling your donors to make tax-deductible or tax-effective donations. In the United Kingdom, this means that donations can qualify for Gift-Aid which adds 25% to the donation made. The Chapel & York UK Foundation does everything necessary to ensure qualifying donations receive the Gift Aid extra amount.
For Organisations.
Foreign organisations can join the Chapel & York UK Foundation which can receive donations and use them to support the foreign organisation. The Foundation offers three membership levels and help with single or occasional gifts.
Joining the Foundation eliminates the administrative, legal and regulatory requirements necessary to running a registered charity but you will have less engagement and flexibility in the country than having a dedicated organisation.

For Donors.
The Chapel & York UK Foundation allows you to support charities worldwide tax-effectively. You can make a one-off gift, occasional gifts or establish an ongoing fund. Donors can support currently approved charities or suggest a new charity for the Foundation to support. If you would like to support a charity that has not yet been approved, please let us know.
